Destiny Discover lets you access your library's print and digital collections, in one place–on any device.

Before you begin

If you are accessing Destiny Discover from a location other than your school, see School pick list, and complete all the steps.

Make sure you have a supported browser:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
  • Firefox (latest version)
  • Google Chrome (latest version)
  • Apple Safari 8

Access Destiny Discover

You can access Destiny Discover by logging in or selecting your permanent homepage link.

note As a Guest (not logged in), you can only search for resources; you cannot read them, place them on hold, or check them out. Guests are not able to create collections.

Where are you logging in from?

  • If Destiny, click/tap Login. Type your assigned username and password, and then select Catalog > Destiny Discover.
  • If Destiny Discover, click/tap Login. Type your assigned username and password, and then click/tap Login.
  • If you have a permanent link to your Destiny Discover homepage, click the link.

Permanent link (homepage)

You can create a permanent link to your Destiny Discover homepage. This link lets you directly access your Destiny Discover homepage from a school or class webpage, learning management system or document. You can also bookmark the homepage using your browser’s native bookmark manager.

Note the following regarding patron authentication:

  • The link does not include any authentication and assumes all access is as a Guest. If Guests are not allowed, the patron must log in before the homepage opens.
  • If Guest patrons open a title and are prompted to log in, after they authenticate, they remain on the same page.
  • If patrons are already logged in through single sign-on (SSO), they are logged in to Destiny Discover.

To create a permanent link to your Destiny Discover homepage

Click here for instructions
  1. Copy your Destiny Discover homepage link from the address box of your Destiny Discover homepage.
  2. Paste the link to any location.

With the permanent link established, you can directly access your Destiny Discover homepage any time you click one of the links.
