Citations

important When EasyBib is configured in Destiny, you can export citations from Destiny Discover to the EasyBib website for customizing. When EasyBib is not configured in Destiny, you can create citations, but you cannot export them to EasyBib.

Supported formats   MLA8 (default), APA, Chicago standard

EasyBib subscription  If you do not have an EasyBib subscription:

• Students can only create citations in MLA8 on the EasyBib website.
• Students will be exposed to an ad-supported site.

1. From the Title Details page, a website, or an online article, click/tap Cite. The Citation Style appears.
2. Select the format you want: MLA8 (default), APA, or Chicago standard. The citation updates accordingly.
3. To place the citation on the clipboard, click/tap Copy, and then copy the text.

note Clicking/Tapping Copy only selects the text; it does not copy the text. You need to copy the text manually, and then paste it where you want it.

4. Find the application you want to copy your citation in, and then paste the text you copied.
5. Click/Tap Close.
6. If you have a subscription and want to send the citation to EasyBib’s website, click/tap Export to EasyBib.

1. Select Bookbag > Favorites.
2. Click the cover of the resource you want to cite. The Title Details page opens. The Citation list is sorted by MLA8, APA, or Chicago standard.
3. Click/Tap Cite.
4. Select the format you want. The citation updates accordingly.
5. To open and close the citations pop-up, click/tap Cite.
6. If you have a subscription and want to send the citations to EasyBib’s website, click/tap Export to EasyBib.
